About

My name is James Brown and I am a final year undergraduate student in University College Cork, Ireland studying Bsc of Physics.

I am a dedicated worker with a passion for problem-solving and customer service. My experience includes conducting cutting-edge research in the field of physics and materials science as a Research Fellow at Tyndall National Institute. I have a strong background in LabVIEW, C++ Python, Physics, and Mathematics, which has allowed me to excel in my academic pursuits and research endeavors.

My skills extend beyond the academic realm. I've also worked as a bartender, where I honed my communication skills and learned the importance customer interactions.

Beyond my professional life, I have a keen interest in reading, which I find both relaxing and intellectually stimulating. I am also actively involved in the Physics Society where in my third year of college I acted as Secretary, where I get to combine my academic interests with my passion for socializing and connecting with like-minded individuals.

Whether I'm in the lab, behind a bar, or tending to a garden, I thrive on challenges and love to learn. I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and enthusiasm for connecting with people and nurturing my hobbies.
